After having realized that an alarming percentage of Somali people are illiterate SOMALI YOUTH VOLUNTEERS FOR DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (SOYVDA) is planing to start a massive anti-illiteracy campaign throughout Somalia. The beneficiaries of this project are children aged between 6-18 years who do not have the opportunity to go to school. One of the major objectives is to reduce the illiteracy rate in Somalia. There are approximately thousands of children live in the outskirts of the Capital City and the immediate regions of Mogadishu and most of these children don’t go to school.
